i am a wedding + elopement photographer & videographer

Meganography is dedicated to creating and preserving lifelong memories for you and your family + friends! Everyone sees a wedding day differently, I take more of a documentary approach. Allow me to capture your special day through my creative eyes!

I’m Megan Thompson, and I am the girl who owns Meganography! I’ve always had a passion for photography. When I was little (approx. 4 years old), my Grandma would let me use her camera to take pictures of my Barbie dolls (lol). I slowly upgraded to where I am now.

I established Meganography in September of 2016 when I was 13 and in 8th grade. It began with a few family sessions here and there, then my first senior, and then finally my first amazing wedding couple who trusted me and gave me a chance. I can’t really see myself doing anything else in life as my career! I am and will be forever grateful I get to live out my passion as my career. 

I love photography mainly because I get to capture genuine moments, the true emotions—the moments that will last forever. 

Meganography has photographed/filmed weddings and elopements in more than 13 U.S. states and I can’t wait for that number to grow! For 2022, I am waiving travel fees for certain locations, just reach out and ask!
